Reducing Methane & Improving Barn Conditions

We utilize the Environmental Balance Device (EBD) to reduce methane emissions and improve overall air quality within dairy barns.

How It Works

The EBD is installed directly within the barn environment using small, wall-mounted units.

In one Wisconsin dairy:

  • Two identical barns were monitored side-by-side

  • One equipped with EBD, one without

  • Methane levels were measured weekly under the same conditions

Result:
Methane levels averaged 63% lower in the EBD-equipped barn.

Farm operators also reported improved barn conditions and air quality alongside the data.
